It is with great joy that we celebrate the election of Rev. Patricia Schmermund as the new Bishop of the Synod of Alberta and the Territories.

Bishop-Elect Trish is currently the pastor of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Edmonton, AB. We wish her God’s abundant blessing on this new journey!

We give thanks to God for Bishop Larry Kochendorfer as he completes his time as Bishop and transitions into other ministry roles.
